Birthday countdown, t-minus 3 days...

mood: old
My birthday is monday. I thought I'd make a short list of some neat things I'm looking into getting in the near future, since maybe someone else will get them for me. ;)



I really, really want the album: MISIA: Love and Ballads (The best Ballads collection), though I'd be happy to get any MISIA album, really. That specific album is shown here:

There's a hard copy version of Steven King's "The Wastelands." You can see it HERE It's the Hard Cover shown on the right, in black, with the awesome skull-faced rendition of Charlie the Choo-Choo (aka Blaine) on the front. I'd love this specific edition of this book.

Nova's production of The Elegant Universe is just plain cool. I like this too.

Anyway, just some suggestions. No one is obligated to buy me anything, I just have fun listing cool stuff I like, because you never know. ;)

You sure that's not a mistake re: the hard cover thing? It looks *exactly* like my soft-cover special edition. That picture made Blaine that much creepier to me, even though it's obviously not the same train.

They released a soft cover version with the same cover as well, but my bookstore locally also has it like that in hardcover (as well as similar hardcovers for books 1-4.) I'm going to get myself the hard cover though because I already have the matching hard covers of "The Gunslinger" and "The Drawing of the Three" (which was a gift a couple of years back from my friend [info]cellshade) I like matching sets - I'm very annoyed that the last few Dark Tower books were all very different in cover styles and hope they come out with nice, matte black ones like these so I can get a cool "all black" set. ;)

I won't be here on the day, but Happy Early Birthday! [info]romicookie is currently in possession of the 15-day trial WoW account that came with my disks... you can bug her and see if she's really going to use it after keeping it for 2 months.
